Block naming: group, type, size, units, every time
“sofa new FINAL 2” is not a block name.
A simple pattern fixes most of it: group, type, width x depth, units, like SEAT-SOFA-84x38-IN. Group first keeps related blocks together, the size lets you pick the right sofa without inserting it, and the units flag warns you before a 25.4× scale surprise. It also prevents a classic trap: a drawing holds one definition per name, so if you paste in another “SOFA”, the existing definition wins and you get the old sofa. To clean up an old file, use RENAME to fix names, PURGE to remove unused blocks and WBLOCK to export the keepers.
